it would be a great feature to have se the number of comments in the newswire so you could see if their are any
additions/comments to an article without seeing through all of them or  browsing the archives.

maybe their could be a feature to choose if authour name or nummcomment is displayed because mostly the authors name
does not mean anything for most people.
(apart from dadaimc where you have verified author names these names are choosen almost randamly by people)
